At Cherry Tree Hill, we believe every child deserves a school where they feel genuinely known – not just taught.
For more than 80 years, we have built something really special here: a community where children feel safe, are caring towards one another, and develop a real love of learning. Our values – Be Safe, Be Caring, Be a Learner – sit at the heart of everything we do and shape the experience of every child in our school.
What makes Cherry Tree Hill unique is the strength of that community. Although we are in a suburban setting, there is a real sense of a village school. Families stay connected to us across generations – it is not unusual for children to attend our school having parents, and even grandparents, who came here before them. That strong sense of belonging helps our children feel safe and confident, ready to take pride in their achievements and embrace new challenges in their learning.
We are proud of our reputation as a welcoming and supportive school. This is built on strong partnerships with our families, the enthusiasm and kindness of our wonderful children, and the dedication of our staff who genuinely love what they do. It is a place where adults want to come to work and children are excited to come and learn. There is a real sense of shared pride, with everyone working together to ensure our school remains a place where everyone feels valued and included.
I have had the privilege of working at Cherry Tree Hill since 2009, and during that time I have grown with the school. I have seen first-hand how our children flourish when they feel safe, when they are encouraged to care for others, and when they are inspired to be curious and ambitious learners.
Above all, we want every child to leave us not only with strong academic foundations, but with the confidence, kindness and resilience to succeed in the next stage of their journey.
I would be delighted for your child to become part of our school family, come and see us for yourself!
