PSHE (including RSE)
PSHE is the study of Personal, Social, and Health education. This includes the teaching of RSE (Relationship and Sex Education). PSHE is taught through a range of assemblies, whole class class lessons and circle time.
We follow the JIGSAW scheme of work that is based on the National Curriculum. At Cherry Tree, we teach PSHE and RSE through Jigsaw. Jigsaw is a spiral curriculum that teaches the same 6 topics each half term to each year group. This is taught with a character focus that stays with the children for the year and leads lessons.
